Continental Investment Partners (CIP), established in 2013 and based in Lugano, is an independent Swiss sponsor of corporate investments and real estate transactions.

Cross Border assisted the shareholders of RanD S.p.A. in the sale of a majority stake in the company to CIP, which was selected after a process involving multiple counterparties, with a strong emphasis on strategic and qualitative alignment.

The transaction establishes a partnership between CIP and the founding family, which will retain approximately 20% of the company’s capital. The objective is to support RanD S.p.A. in embarking on a new and ambitious growth phase, focusing on consolidating its global leadership and accelerating its expansion in key markets such as the U.S., China, and Japan.
